Hiking is fun, But keep in mind, it’s rattle snake season!
Be aware of your surroundings.
Always have a plan in case of emergency.
Stay on trails, don’t walk through tall grass.
Always step on logs, not around them when hiking. Have an emergency Dog Carry Harness, in case your dog is in distress and needs to be carried.
*Try and limit places for critters to hide in your back yard.
*Check with your veterinarian about the rattlesnake vaccine for your dog.
*Get rattlesnake repellant for around your home.
*Put mesh around the bottom of the fence surrounding your yard to keep them out.
